Welcome to Reedurban Elementary.  Reedurban is one of six elementary schools within the Perry Local School District.

Our school is located one block south of the southwest corner of Perry Drive and State Route 172 (the old West Tuscarawas Street),behind Walgreen's Pharmacy. It can be seen from the stop light at this intersection.  Click here for a map of Reedurban's location.

The Reedurban Elementary School building was reportedly built in 1918, yet the cornerstone shows 1921. Building additions were done in 1931, 1940, 1950, and 1969. Reedurban as a community was named in 1893, when landowner H.U. Reed sponsored
a contest. The town was situated on the Inter-Urban Electric Railroad. Charles Bayliss' entry of Reedurban won, according to The Repository. It was recorded on May 23, 1893. Today Reedurban Elementary School houses 340 students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
