Attention Freshman parents.   The Perry High School Guidance Department will be hosting a College Credit Options night on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the high school in room AV200.  The following will be discussed; the various ways your student can earn college credit while in high school, qualification requirements, and the application procedure.   Important-all students who wish to participate in the College Options Program are required to have an ACT score on file by March 2010.  There are exams on December 12, 2009 (late registration runs Nov. 7-20th)  and February 6, 2010 (the registration deadline for the February test is January 5, late registration runs from January 6-15th late fee required) you may go to www.actstudent.org to register) Attendance to one of the meetings is mandatory.  Counselors will not be available to meet one on one to discuss the College Credit Options after the meeting.  Please make an appointment to meet at a later time.

Thank you for visiting the Edison Junior High School web page. Edison is home to nearly 800 8th and 9th grade students. Perry Pride is evident in all that we do at Edison Junior High School.  The Edison staff is excited to be working with your children to continue providing excellent educational and extra-curricular opportunities.

Homework Request Policy: Students must be absent three consecutive days before homework can be requested and parents must call the office to request the homework BEFORE 8:30 AM. If it is after 8:30 AM it cannot be picked up until the following afternoon. Thank you!

Student Drop Off/Pick-Up: Reminder to parents:  We need you to drop your students off and pick them up at door # 3 between Edison and Pfeiffer.  You need to enter through the Pfeiffer entrance and exit there as well. This is a safety concern with buses, cars and children all crossing in the early morning hours and the seasons changing.
