What is eLearning?

eLearning, also called online learning, uses technology such as computers, the Internet, and software, to reach a diverse student population. The courses are designed for students who have a desire for, and whose education can be optimized by, a program of online instruction. Because the focus is on eLearning, the ability of students to learn independently using an online educational program is an essential element of this program.

The program permits the use of a “blended” approach to the delivery of educational services designed to provide the optimum balance between online and traditional instruction for each individual student. We believe this new program of instruction will provide a unique opportunity to attract, serve and keep certain students who may be currently functioning both outside and inside the regular public school setting and who may benefit from the more fully-rounded educational experience, which can be achieved through a combination of online and traditional school setting educational environments.
